Le déjeuner sur l’herbe et la partie de croquet 2023

Our club was founded in 2011 in Berlin by enthusiasts of the game. In 2013 it was officially registered as a sports and cultural association. The aim of the “International Club of Russian Croquet“ is to revive the traditions of this niche sport and make it known in Germany as well as worldwide. Under the auspices of our club, which unites players from 7 countries (Germany, Russia, Great Britain, Spain, Austria, Luxembourg and Monaco), we organise regular training sessions and tournaments. The main event of each season is “Le déjeuner sur l’herbe et la partie de croquet“ - a large traditional tournament which is also open to the public. This tournament always takes place on Whitsun. Among the players and participants are not only club members, but also representatives of political, economic and social circles in Germany, as well as public figures. The club regularly organises tournaments in Berlin, Bremen, Munich. In 2015, we organised a small show tournament on the Côte d’Azur in Menton with the participation of guests from Moscow and Saint Petersburg. In November 2017, a tournament was held in Monaco with players from several countries (Belgium, Germany France, Georgia, Great Britain, Monaco, Russia and Belarus). Even in 2020, the club managed to hold a small tournament despite all the difficulties. ⓒ International Club of the Russian Croquet, 2023
