BTCC 2001 - Rounds 1 & 2 Brands Hatch

Okay so 2001 a brave new transitional era for the BTCC began with rounds 1 & 2 of the championship at Brands Hatch. It was a small BTC Touring grid which would grow as the season progressed bolstered up by the BTC Production class which stars some familiar faces of the BTCC Modern era such as Mat Jackson and also making his debut was the BTCC’s favourite scouser Paul O’Neill. But up front it was Vauxhall and Peugeot who would make the running who would take first blood.
