Despite the challenges of the mountain lifestyle, Grandma never wavered in her dedication to caring for the girls. Grandma gently and lovingly took on the role of a nurturing figure, brushing the girls’ messy hair and comforting them with her soothing presence. As night fell, he prepared a hearty meal over a fire and filled the cave with the aroma of warmth and comfort.
