Singlade ball class amongst the Latvian mitten exhibit

Before my students arrived at Ingebretsen’s for our singlade ball class, I took a moment to record our classroom. We were sharing space with an exhibition of absolutely gorgeous Latvian knitted mittens, some of which were over 50 years old, and were on loan in a traveling exhibit highlighting Latvian culture for that country’s 100th birthday. It was so inspiring to hold our class with such beautiful patterns and handcraft all around us!
