Porsche (P) Rammtiger (Das Werk & Amusing Hobby 1/35 scale model)

When the the Tiger contract was given to another manufacturer, Porsche used the existing chassis in different ways: most were converted to Elefant / Ferdinand tank destroyers, but another three were destined to be converted into Rammtigers. The jury is still out on whether these Rammtigers were actually built and no photographic evidence of them seems to exist. None survived the war. The aim of the Rammtiger would have been to clear battlefield obstacles such as barricades and wire. This kit from Amusing Hobby and Das Werk is a nice, straightforward build. The armour / plough piece means there is significantly less detail on the top of the hull (which can’t be seen), resulting in a much lower parts count
