BILL HALEY 1979

The first record I bought was ’Rock Around The Clock’ by Bill Haley and the Comets, a 78rpm one. This is from the Royal Variety Show of 1979 recorded at Theatre Royal Drury Lane where my father was the Manager. Bill Haley died just 15 months later at the age of 55 most likely from a heart attack’.
