Datto Did Destiny for a Decade

Open the description for TL;DW. On May 27th, 2013, I uploaded my first Youtube video on this channel. It’s been 10 years. Today, I’m gonna treat you like a therapist and just dump a bunch of stuff that’s been on my mind lately. Without this channel, I literally do not know where I’d be or what I’d be doing and I truly mean that. I don’t know what my career would’ve ended up being. I wouldn’t know the people I know now, I wouldn’t know my wife, or anyone. Taking a sabbatical around this time next year for a month at a minimum. This job has taken its toll on me mentally and I want to know what it’s like to have stress-free, guilt-free time away from my job because all I ever do is work, think about work or think about thinking about work. All day, every day. I’m burnt out, I’m exhausted, I’m fatigued, I don’t like how I’m doing or feeling and I need time away. In my drive to be known as the greatest to do it, I have neglected many other things about my life and things need to change. After Final Shape and after my sabbatical, I’ll probably be returning to Youtube because I literally do not know what I can or can’t do and I don’t want to lose what I have for many reasons. This is the only life I’ve known and I don’t know what else is out there. If I do end up sticking with Youtube, content will likely not be this 100% curated series of videos that you know now. I don’t think I’ll completely switch over to only pulling things from my stream or anything like that, I’ll still have some curated stuff here and there, but if I’m gonna keep going, I need to get some help. The next year will have no significant changes to content, although I do plan on utilizing more sponsors for the channel since this is the last fully guaranteed year that I will be doing content and ya boy wants to get paid. I talk some other stuff in there as well, but not much that pertains to what I think a TL;DR section needs to cover. Thank you all for the years of support.
