So here it fucking is. After about 4 years of searching I’ve finally got it, Ariel Pink’s debut tape and WOW it’s wacky! You can really see the trademark HG sound coming together in tracks like The Nile Pan and The Date, but it’s all so different. It contains a 30 minute movement called Funeral In An Aircraft for one.
Very hi-fi for such an early recording, too! (by the way, that’s not the official artwork, there is none). Oh also apparently the last two tracks are bonus tracks that were recorded after this tape, probably 96-97 if I had to guess.
