Israel reportedly miscalculated the severity of Iran’s revenge attack. The New York Times reported that Israel initially expected Iran to fire 10 missiles. It then changed the estimate to 60-70 missiles. However, it was also a misjudgement as Iran rained over 350 ballistic, cruise missiles and Shahed drones on Israel over the weekend.
