The title song, ’7th Grader’ depicts the problem of modern society where only hope and communication are emphasized, with a hope that this society will be able to understand and accept 7th graders’ provocations. ’Spread Silk and Satins in My Heart’ is a collaboration work with ’Jambinai’. It’s not simply about mixing rock and Korean classical music but rather emboding the rock sound by Korean classical instruments to make you able to feel the extended synesthesia. Also, this album includes ’Whenever I strum E Major’, and ’How Not to Love You’ that were released as digital singles last year, as well as ’Yellow Ribbon’ which was made to soothe the wounded heart from SaeWol Ferry disaster, and ’Arirang’ which received reviews for being the most creative and impressive Arirang ever. ▶1theK FB : ▶1theK TW : ▶1theK G : 1theK キム•チャンワンバンドの３ｒｄフルアルバム『容赦』には、全9曲が収録されている。タイトル曲「中2」は、希望と疎通のみを強調する現社会が持っている問題点を指摘し、中学2年の挑発を受け入れることができる社会になってほしいという願いを込めた曲で、愉快さが感じられる。 「私の心に中に絨緞を敷いて」は、‘ジャンビナイ’とのコラボレーションで完成した曲で、単にロックと国楽を融合させた作業ではなく、国楽器でロックのサウンドを具現して、拡張された共感覚を感じさせる作品だ。それから今回のアルバムには、昨年デジタルシングルで発表された「Eメジャーを弾けば」、「辛い」、‘歳月号事件’で受けた傷を慰めるために作られた「黄色いリボン」、独創的で印象的なアリランという評価を受けた「アリラン」などが収録されている。 김창완 밴드의 세 번째 정규앨범 ’용서’에는 모두 9곡이 수록되어 있다. 타이틀 곡 ‘중2’는 희망과 소통만을 강조하는 현 사회가 갖고 있는 문제점을 지적하며 중2의 도발을 포용할 수 있는 그런 사회가 되길 바라는 마음을 담아낸 곡으로 유쾌함이 느껴진다. ‘내 마음에 주단을 깔고’는 ‘잠비나이’와의 콜라보레이션으로 완성된 곡으로 단순히 락과 국악을 섞는 작업이 아니라 국악기로 락의 사운드를 구현하여 확장된 공감각을 느끼게 하는 작품이다. 그리고 이번 앨범에는 지난해 디지털 싱글로 발표됐던 ‘E메이져를 치면’, ‘괴로워’와 세월호 사건으로 받은 상처를 위로하기 위해 만들어졌던 ‘노란리본’, 그 어느 것보다도 독창적이고 인상적인 아리랑이라는 평을 받은 ‘아리랑’등이 수록되어 있다.
