Demonstration of how PGXP gets rid of zigzagged lines in Tenchu
Note: Loading screens are cut out of this video in order to get to the point.
The PSX has no Z-buffer and therefore can’t really do 3D properly. Because of this, textures will sometimes appear misaligned. A very good example of this is in the training level of Tenchu, where the floor is textured with wooden planks. When viewed horizontally, they look straight but from a lateral view they are wibbly-wobbly.
