lingWAVES Voice Protocol

This tutorial demonstrates how use the new lingWAVES Voice Protocol module to complete a standard voice assessment including high quality recording, accurate acoustic analysis with objective measurements and printed report of all results and progress trends. The demonstration includes setting up the Sound Pressure Level Microphone and USB Cable with its own Sound Card (no calibration necessary) and then performing the assessment: Step 1 - s/z ratio, MPT (Maximum Phonation Time) Step 2 - F0 / pitch, loudness, glide, voice quality, jitter, shimmer, irregularity, noise (GNE) Step 3 - DSI (Dysphonia Severity Index) Step 4 - Spoken Text Analysis -- Pitch and SPL range in running speech Printing a report Plus how to use the RealTime Pitch/SPL loudness screen for your own preferred assessment tasks and client biofeedback and client feedback and scoring for treatment sessions.
