On Reverb:
Inspired by the huge gain range of the discontinued Four Eyes Fuzz, the ~900 (about Nine Hundred) fuzz gives players a huge range to play with by cascading two JFET gain stages. The key to this pedal’s versatility is the level of control it gives between these stages. The input level controls the first gain stage and is a great place to start when matching the pedal to various pickups. Then it’s on to the Fuzz which controls how much signal is fed into the second gain stage. And with that second stage comes a powerful Gain/Bias adjustment which is very interactive with the Fuzz knob. Low bias settings produce a very uncompressed overdrive/distortion while higher settings change the saturation and begin to starve or gate the signal. Of course, the interactivity between the bias, fuzz, and input are all part of the fun and can produce a bevy of sound from classic to experimental walls of noise, especially with the input cranked.
