Xin’anjiang dam discharges water after 9 years

The increasingly severe weather situation has prompted authorities to discharge water from various dams and reservoirs across China. Xin’anjiang dam in eastern China, for instance, has opened its floodgates to discharge water as the water levels reached a meter above the peak warning level.
