Charted at #3 in January 1948. Vocal by Bob Lamm. After the huge success of “Near You“ (which I’ve also posted), Francis followed it up with this song, his only other national hit record. Also #5 for Frankie Carle and His Orchestra in February 1948, #8 for Larry Green and His Orchestra in March 1948 and #12 for the Dinning Sisters in February 1948. Written by Francis Craig and Beasley Smith. Released in December 1947. The other side of this record is “I’m Looking for a Sweetheart“.
