Eimear Noone Conducts AC/DC’s “Back in Black for Symphony Orchestra,“ feat. the Qatar Philharmonic.

Those who know Eimear’s story, know that no matter what concert she has in front of her, be it Mozart or Metallica, she always listen’s to AC/DC’s Back in Black in the final minutes before going on stage. It settles her heart rate and somehow prepares her mind for the concert. Knowing this, I first surprised Eimear with a chamber orchestra arrangement of Back in Black as the walk off music at our wedding. I also created a full orchestral version for The Pacific Symphony, and a “fantasy“ version for string quartet. In this video above, Eimear is conducting my orchestral arrangement of the song in a session with the Qatar Philharmonic. A big thanks goes out to Kurt Meister and the entire QPO staff and players for making this happen! Also to Mark Scholl and his great drumming!
