DMC 5 - Nero vs Cerberus but with [rage] Style: I Finally Snapped!

Merry Christmas! late than never! Cerberus. Oh my goodness Cerberus. I’ll give that guy some credit for being the first and only boss that actually made me pissed off so hard (Final Form Urizen was very close), I just threw away my “don’t-use-too-much-jump-cancelling-and-do-some-risky-stuff“ rule and just Jump Cancelled whenever I feel like it. And yet I still try to Style regardless in the end! I think one of the hardest part about fighting Cerberus is the lock-on system. You are fighting with the lock-on system more than Cerberus honestly. This dog’s head keeps wobbling all around you might end up using a wrong move after using the “correct“ input. Gosh that’s very frustrating. You will have to pay close attention to where the head is and sometimes predict where the head will be. Another thing is that Cerberus is so annoyingly *tanky*, I had trouble figuring out how I can even Style against him. (There’s a reason why I never touched him until now). I didn’t want to use the same tactics other had used to beat him. Or at least, I tried to use those tactics as little as possible. Otherwise, the biggest problem for me is that I keep taking the huge risks! Do you have any idea how many times I tried to Table Hopper Cerberus’s explosion without cancelling the Shuffle move? Me neither! It’s possible but, gah it’s so hard. Other than that, I gave this Style a huge pass. I have been debating about this video for a long while and realized something: messing up and taking damage has an interesting charm in the video. Sure I took damage, but soon I redeemed myself afterwards. In other words, *you get to see me get so pissed off I became a very careless and aggressive player!* (hence is why I love playing Nero). Oh and one more thing. Not sure why Cerberus didn’t use his ice attack. I was really expecting it to happen. 🤷‍♂️ Thank you for watching this video and stay Stylish.
