Lore Accurate Vergil Gameplay

Hoo, where do I begin? I just wanted to say, I’m deeply saddened by the news of the legendary Hideaki Itsuno’s departure from Capcom. Dude is a living legend in every sense of the word. At the same time, I can’t help but find it bittersweet. Because it sounds like he gets to continue making projects he’s passionate about, so I’m happy for him. I can’t thank Itsuno enough for putting Devil May Cry on the map the way he did. I’ll always have a great respect for him and Hideki Kamiya. DMC1 is among my favorite DMCs and is seriously underrated. While Kamiya made it, Itsuno really continued in his path and made DMC what it is today. In Kamiya’s own words, Itsuno did a better job than he would’ve on trying to salvage DMC2. Saying that by the time Itsuno came on board to clean it up, the crisis was already too late, LOL! So Itsuno making DMC2 in a somewhat salvageable state is impressive enough as it is, but he didn’t want to stop there. He had bigger plans for the series and showed exactly how it’d be under his vision, and wow!! He’s my favorite director in the industry next to Katsuhiro Harada, the legendary Tekken director. Both have been in the industry for more than 30 years, and that’s really amazing to be a veteran for that long. I have nothing but love and respect for these legends. Itsuno crafted my favorite series in gaming next to Tekken. DMC5 is still my favorite game of all time! To me, its action is quite unmatched and it really set a gold standard for not just Devil May Cry, but the entire action genre and industry as a whole. It beautifully incentivizes players to experiment with player expression, playing however you want and being rewarded for it. It has fighting game fundamentals in the sense of having huge, expansive move sets with an emphasis on snappy and stylish animations. The music resonates deeply with your soul as it becomes a total vibe during gameplay. I’ll always miss Itsuno and be grateful for what he did for me, the franchise and DMC community as a whole. I know he’s not gone or anything, but it’s still heavy news to take in, you know? It shocked me because I always thought we’d get a DMC6 helmed by him. I never thought 5 would be his last hurrah, or that he’d retire from Capcom just shortly after DMC’s 23rd anniversary. I’m confident we’ll continue getting more DMC, and I’m optimistic that some new talented director/team can take notes from the amazing blueprint Itsuno left behind. It’s best to remain hopeful for this series’ future. Remember, hope dies last. Nevertheless, I hope he’s doing great, and even though we never met, it felt like he was always there through his awesome creations. DMC got me by a lot, and was there for me in the good and dark times. Here’s a new Vergil gameplay video, honoring Itsuno in the best way I know how; by being extremely motivated with his favorite character. Enjoy guys, and thank you so much for reading and watching! My love and passion for this series isn’t going anywhere, and I’ll continue making content like this. 💙 Lyrics: I am the storm that is approaching Provoking black clouds in isolation I am reclaimer of my name Born in flames, I have been blessed My family crest is a demon of death Forsakened, I am awakened A phoenix’s ash in dark divine Descending misery Destiny chasing time Disappear into the night Lost shadows left behind Obsession’s pulling me Fading, I’ve come to take what’s mine Bury the light deep within Cast aside, there’s no coming home We’re burning chaos in the wind Drifting in the ocean all alone Devil May Cry 5: Deluxe Edition Vergil “Bury the Light“ by Casey Edwards & Victor Borba Air Rising Sun: Classic Yamato Style VFX: DMC3 Beowulf UI Icon: No Beowulf: SSSiyan’s Collaborative Cheat Trainer: True Hell on Earth: Vergil Beowulf Instant Charge: Vergil Boss Walk: Vergil - Judgement Cut End Waves: Vergil - Summoned Swords Screen Shake: Vergil-Themed DT Gauge Recolor: #BuryTheLight #DevilMayCry5 #Vergil #Capcom #Combo #DevilMayCry #DMC #DMC5
