I’ve known for a while that ripple acrylic pours look interesting from the underneath and so when we got our latest delivery of acrylic panels for the store I just had to give it a shot. I didn’t have a lot of paint as for the past few months I’ve been doing mostly resin art. Sometimes its easier to choose colors if you don’t have many because I think this one turned out great! This method should work for any straight pour technique, but not so much for any pours that require tilting or a base coat etc. I will try a moving ring pour soon and see what that gives, but if you watch this one to the end you’ll see that the reverse of the piece is in a lot of ways better than the front. One thing I regret is the drag lines. I don’t regret doing them - the intention was that one side would be feathered and the other side unfeathered - I just didn’t do a great job of them. I should have tried to keep the dotting tool off the acrylic panel, but unfortunately you can see
