Ingredient Quantity
Water for boiling
Salt to taste
Spinach bunch 2 no
Ice water as required
Water as required
Ghee 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Garlic chopped 1 tbsp
Green chili slit 4-5 no
Onion chopped 1 no
Tomato chopped 1 no
Salt to taste
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Gram flour 1 tbsp
Curd 2 tbsp
Boiled spinach chopped ½ cup
Spinach puree ½ cup
Desi ghee 1 tbsp
Garlic slice 20 no
Dry red chilli 3 no
Dry Kasuri methi 1 tbsp
Method
1. Boil water on medium flame in a kadai and boil it.
2. Add spinach in it and leave for 2-3 minute.
3. Now immediately take out in an ice water bowl.
4. Take a small mixer jar and add half of boiled spinach. Add water and grind to paste.
5. Chop the remaining boiled spinach.
6. Heat ghee on medium flame in a kadai. Add cumin seeds, chopped garlic, slit green chilli and chopped onion sauté for 3-4 minute.
7. Now add chopped tomato, salt and sauté. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and gram flour and sauté.
8. Now add curd and mix well.
9. Add chopped boiled spinach and sauté for a minute.
10. Now add pureed spinach on it and sauté.
11. Heat ghee on medium flame in a pan. Add sliced garlic, dry red chilli and fry until brown.
12. Now add kasuri methi in a lahsuni palak kadai and mix.
13. Now side out in a serving bowl and add garlic tempering on it.
