This crisp seed bread recipe is very easy to make and is a great substitute for bread. It has no flour, no dairy, no eggs. It is very healthy and filling as well. Follow me : Twitter : Facebook : Instagram : Seed Bread Recipe - 1/3 cup sesame seeds 1/2 cup flax seeds 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds (pepitas) 1/2 cup sunflower seeds 2 tablespoons chia seeds 1/3 cup psyllium husk OR 1/3 cup cornstarch (corn flour) 1/2 teaspoon salt 3 1/2 tablespoons oil 3/4 cup boiling water Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl, except for the water. Once it is all mixed well add he boiling water and mix well. Allow the mixture to rest for 30 minutes so that the chia and psyllium husk bind it all. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Preheat your oven to 275Β°F (135Β°C). Transfer the mixture to the pan and spread it out with. your fingers. Wet your hands and shake off all the excess to helo you press the dough. You want a thin layer with an even width. If you are using corn starch the mixture will be wetter so use a spatula instead. Place the baking sheet in the oven for two hours. Rotate the pan every 30 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and tap the seed bread. It should be dry and crisp. If it isn’t, slide it off the paper and return it to the oven for another 15 minutes. Place the pan on a cooling rack and cool down completely. Break it into pieces and enjoy it with any topping you like. Store it in the refrigerator, in an airtight container, for a couple of weeks.
