Feeding a baby great horned owl at approximately 4 days of age. Wildlife rehabilitator, Martin Tyner, of the Southwest Wildlife Foundation is feeding it small pieces of a mouse. Normally the baby owl’s mom and dad would catch mice, voles, squirrels or bunnies to feed their babies, pulling tiny pieces to feed their young until they become old enough to pull at it themselves.
