Welcome to Holyland - Ominous (Full Album 2023)

Ominous (2023) pre-order CD: Welcome to Holyland arose out of the ashes of experimental post-doom band ’Zeus Walks the Earth’. This time going for a more sludgy stoner doom sound, slow and heavy. Rehearsals took off somewhere in the autumn of 2015. The purpose was to find a balance between heavy riffing and atmospheric soundscapes. The band entered Patrick Delabie’s Studio 195 in March 2018. Four songs were recorded live in the studio and resulted in quite a raw/heavy and natural sounding demo. The self-titled demo CD was released on the 18th of May 2018. The demo was well received in the local underground. A tape version of the demo was released on the 22nd of April 2019.
