Yla-Mago (イラ・マゴ) is a band formed by manga artist and illustrator Yla Okudaira. You may have seen his works before—he drew the cover art for Mariah’s now famous “Utakata no Hibi“ LP. Plenty of fun nods to old-school hip-hop/electro sounds in this 12-inch, with an all-star production team composed of Aki Ikuta, Bill Laswell, Yasuaki Shimizu, Michael Beinhorn, Aiyb Dieng, and Grand Mixer .
