Chipgear: YM2149 Synth overview (Atari ST soundchip)
An overview of the YM2149 Synth from Catskull Electronics, a 3 channel, MIDI controlled synth that uses the same Yamaha soundchip as an Atari ST.
The soundchip was produced under license by General Instrument who used a previous variation (AY-3-8910) in 1980s arcade games, pinball machines and home computers such as the ZX Spectrum.
