Chirombo Woye Nditerere (Hugh Tracey)

One of the most beautiful songs ever recorded by ethnomusicologist Hugh Tracey (pictured), founder of International Library of African Music. No video, just audio recording of a voice and a kalimba (also pictured), possibly from Uganda. The song is taken from the album “Very Best of Hugh Tracey Recordings“ and is sung by Mugadzikwa Mwanagona. Enjoy!
