Old Video: Comparison Video: I carried over a lot of the same beats from the original, like certain things happening at certain times, but (I like to think) I also improved some things, beyond just the visual quality. Having said that it would have been almost impossible or at least ridiculously time consuming to capture everything happening in the same way, like with crashes for example. After recording for many hours over many days and trimming out hundreds of clips I was worried I wasn’t going to have enough crash footage, plus certain crash scenarios I was hoping for didn’t happen. On the subject of capturing footage, I couldn’t tell you the amount of times something really cool happened only for me to discover I hadn’t been recording. One such example was a vertical takedown where the opponent vehicle shot into space. That clip would have definitely made it into the final video. So frustrating. I got some good stuff though. The funny thing about the White Mountain broken bridge takedown is it was one that I missed while recording for the original video all the way back in 2012. As soon as it happened this time round I immediately checked to see that I was recording. I don’t why this description is so long, I guess I have a lot to say about it, and no-one’s going to ask, so there ya go.
