Two Ravens - I-The Last Breath (full album, 2022)

A new project of ambient atmospheric black metal from Swedish duo Rosy and Nord – aka Rafn better known for their consistently affecting work as Hermóðr. You know to expect good things from these two, and this project delivers a satisfying new vision from them. Two Ravens is their space for a doomier yet more ethereal lightness of sound, less wintery rawness, yet still full of catchy hauntingly melancholic riffs, with Rosy’s vocals taking central focus over the more caustic rasps of Rafn. Titled ‘I’, the implication is there will be more to follow, and no doubt it will be a project worth following for future releases.
