He stopped there and started to learn the secrets of the ancien school of Naginata “Koryū Naginata”. According to some historical facts, it seems that the style was passed to Matsumoto during the second half of the 18th century. The style was soon incorporated in the martial curriculum of the Higo School at the Jishūkan, and “Koryū Naginata” spread around. --- CREDITS -
