SpaceX Starlink 172 launch and Falcon 9 first stage landing, 8 June 2024

A SpaceX Falcon 9 launch vehicle launched 22 Starlink satellites (Starlink-172 / Starlink 10-1) to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida, on 8 June 2024, at 01:56 UTC (7 June, at 21:56 EDT). Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on the “A Shortfall of Gravitas” droneship, stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. Falcon 9’s first stage (B1069) previously supported 15 missions: CRS-24, Eutelsat HOTBIRD 13F, OneWeb 15, SES-18/SES-19 and 11 Starlink missions. Credit: SpaceX
