Kepler’s Platonic Revolution 8: Epilogue on Sublunary Nature

This week’s Rising Tide Foundation Kepler study group introduces the principle of life as a causal forces animating the universe and all things within it. Kepler sets the stage for a new science with solid metaphysical foundations de-weeded of superstition while still upholding faith in a loving reasonable Creator. Parallels are drawn between the processes supporting life in organisms and earth itself along with a deep dive into two opposing views of causality: The first being Aristotelian, mechanistic and linear while the second being Platonic, dynamic and creative. Kepler also introduces the groundwork for a science of astroclimatology.
