2006 OAKLAND PUNK POP Pets “I Want Fun“ Ramones Flamin’ Groovies garage FM Knives RIGHT ON

It seems like an insult to call this band “pop punk“ or “punk pop“ even, as 1) they had good melodic ideas that were unlikely to come from a 14 year old boy, and 2) the band rocked. Members were in other bands that were able to make non-embarrassing punk pop, like FM Knives, and were in the awesome Rob Vasquez band Right On, the “total Killed By Death“ unit Short Eyes, Rat City band Flathead, and many more. This is their debut record.
