Schutzengel (2012) - Til Schweiger killcount

Til Schweiger, directs, writes, produces, edits, stars and probably does both the lighting and the catering in this “Man on Fire“’ish movie about a German ex-soldier killing a bunch of people (as seen above) who want to kill a girl he grows to like as a surrogate daughter (coincidentally, she’s played by Til Schweiger’s reallife daughter Luna) and who kill even more people to find her. It’s people killing people in a really hamfisted soap opera’ish melodrama of sorts that clashes with excellent action scene
