This 1974 U.S. Navy recruitment film looks at the role of women in the Navy. The starting point is the re-commissioning of the USS Sanctuary, a hospital ship that is the first to host an integrated crew of men and women. It goes over the historic roles of women in the Navy in the two World Wars and the Korean War.
