Jointer Thickness Planer Combo 25” Shop Tour

This video shows a new (old) machine we have in our shop at Doucette and Wolfe Furniture Makers. This is a Koelle HK63 jointer planer (Kolle Hk63 630mm planer thicknesser). It has an extremely nice custom shelix cutterhead made in America by Byrd Tools. The cutting capacity of this machine is 26“ for the jointer and 25“ for the planer. This machine model was made in Germany from 1950-1981 with little changes to the overall design, we call it “the tank“ for obvious reasons. For the type of work we do (custom and reproduction furniture) this is our version of a “time saver“ Thanks for watching
