Edouard Risler playing Chopin’s A minor Mazurka, op 17 no. 4.
This recording comes from 1917 and unfortunately is in very poor sound. The interpretation however is exceptional -- poetic and fluid. Risler studied with Descombes, Diemer, Stavenhagen and d’Albert (several Liszt pupils).
