Police clashed protesters at rally in Tel Aviv demanding the release of Israeli hostages in Gaza. The times of Israel reported that 120,000 people attended the protest in Tel Aviv on Saturday. The protest came shortly after Biden’s announcement of a truce deal when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisted his country would pursue the war until it had achieved all its aims, further saying that “Israel’s conditions for ending the war have not changed: the destruction of Hamas’s military and governing capabilities, the freeing of all hostages and ensuring that Gaza no longer poses a threat to Israel“.
