Toponyms of South Arabia - From ESA to Arabic (Imar Koutchoukali) (SemiticsTwitterCoronaConference)

In this talk I give an overview of a some very (!) preliminary research about the transmission of South Arabian place names from Sabaic to Arabic. I talk about both phonology (vowels, glottal stop, sibilants) as well as grammar (definite marking).
