The entire process was done losslessly through PNG image sequences up until the very end where a video format had to be made in order to upload to YouTube. 1. Extracted, deinterlaced (using “blend“ method from to ) and aspect ratio corrected (from 512x384 (4:3) to 640x410 (64:41)) the PS2 source footage via AviSynth . - The PS2 video files are natively “squished“ at 4:3 and stretched/corrected to 64:41 during playback. 2. AI upscaled to 2x approximate native size via Topaz Video Enhance AI. 3. Interpolated footage 2x (from to ) via DAIN (Depth-Aware Video Frame Interpolation). 4. Rendered to video and uploaded. THIS WAS JUST DONE FOR FUN!
