Die Gemutlichen Schuhplattlers from the Phoenix Club in Anaheim had their annual Bockbierfest. This is where several different Schuhplattler vereins came to celebrate the first brewing of the season of German Bockbier. Bockbier is a strong beer that is primarily produced in winter for summer drinking. German music was played, songs were sung and several Schuhplatter vereins performed their own plattlers and folk tanz in honor of this special occasion.
