So the latest CSP update included AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution and it can boost your FPS or your quality depending on your setup.
Type-o during the 720p testing, I was using Ultra Quality, there’s nothing called Ultra Sharp.
Results:
Overall FSR necessity is will vary from system to system.
The results were interesting, when driving in 4K “Balanced“ seems like a no brainer, you lose some quality and definition but nothing noticeable when racing. At 4K you already have plenty of pixels for your eyes anyways.
“Ultra quality“ looks good in most cases although some jagged edges starts to appear, not using FSR at all looks the best. I’d say Ultra Quality is not worth 10fps as I gained on my system (PC Specs below) but would rather chose “Balanced“ for even more FPS gain.
“Performance“ looks like hot garbage, unfortunately, just lower the in game resolution if you need to use this setting.
720p was the most impressive to me since you could get a shit looking picture to pretty decent 1080p picture with Ultra
