Slavic Prelude is a musical performance inspired by Slavic culture. Screenplay of Prelude is based on Slavic holiday calendar with its traditional customs closely associated with 4 seasons of the year. Authors of the show - Agnieszka Glińska and Marek „Smok” Rajss use multiple forms of expression such as music, rhythm, dance, traditional Slavic songs and body-painting to create modern and at the same time autochtonic interpretation of ancient Slavic word with its believes and rituals based on rhythm of the nature. Dynamic & energetic ethnic songs along with stunning dance and impressive, original stylizations take viewers to forgotten world of natural, earthy emotions so distant to modern society. Show, performed by Art Color Ballet, Wataha Drums and vocal group Strojone, brings fascinating and spellbinding world of Slavic ceremonies closer to the viewers and enchants them with its magical, pagan atmosphere.
