чернобрюхая или индийская (восточная) змеешейка/Oriental Darter ( Anhinga melanogaster)
Sighted this elegant waterbird, the Oriental Darter, spread its wings, trying to get its feathers unclogged after foraging underwater. Typical behaviour for this species is as the wings of this bird, unlike most waterbirds, do not contain any oil, so the feathers can become waterlogged after foraging. Outstretching their wings in the sun can help them dry before the bird can fly quickly again.
This species is classified as Near Threatened by the IUCN. The bird populations are showing a sign of decline due to a few factors such as pollution, hunting and illegal collection of eggs and nestlings.
