Shanghai rollercoaster cuts off, passengers left stranded in mid air

A rollercoaster in a Shanghai amusement park malfunctioned and stopped while in the air on September 13, leaving riders stranded. The management staff claimed the machine automatically switched-off for its “self-protection.“ The rollercoaster was left hanging in the air for around 10 minutes. Luckily, no one was hurt.
