Metra SD70MACH, Amtrak Polar Express, and More around Chicago!

On December 10th, 2023, Metra ran a special passenger train from Chicago Union Station to O’Hare and back to pick up some politicians. The power for the train was new SD70MACH #507 and F40PH #104 (City of Chicago). I caught this special move arriving and departing CUS as well as returning from O’Hare at Galewood. While waiting for the special, I captured a few other interesting trains, including Amtrak’s Polar Express with heritage P42DC #160, and a pair of KCS units at Galewood! —————————————————————————— Thanks for watching!
