’AMALEHO’ LE BONHEUR / Happiness (de thap)
Album: DAY TOMORROW
Please enjoy this wonderful music video clip that we filmed in the Eastern Part of Tibet in the Szechuan province of China. You will see the beautiful symbol of a pure heart - The Tibetan good luck scarf called ’Khatak’ being blessed by a Lama and going around the world bringing hope, peace and good luck to the people in this world. You will see places like France, South Africa, South America and Canada and the ’Khatak’ finally coming back to Tibet where it is being brought back to the Lama. The ancient wisdom of Tibet bringing inner peace and calm to the world. The beautiful music and the clip have been produced by Helge van Dyk. The Tibetan peace prayer has been written by my dear father Dagsay Rinpoche.
This peace song should be heard in all zones of conflicts in this world. It is a wish that one day people will be able to overcome the three poisons of mind like greed, hatred and ignorance. May we all realize that we are carrying the most powerful weapons inside us and not outside. The inner qualitites of love, compassion, reconciliation and tolerance are the most effective antidotes to conquer the negative emotions such as hatred, anger, agression and vengeance. Only if we succeed to cultivate a positive state of mind full of wisdom there will be hope for a more peaceful and just world. We may never forget, that at the beginning of every conflict there is a negative state of mind full of hatred and anger. We all dream of a more peaceful world. The biggest contribution that each one of us can do is to be mindful in every moment. Mindfulness helps us to observe our mind and to discover the rising of negative emotions and to implement the antidotes accordingly. Something quite new ist he fact that in this song Dechen sings a part in french. She hopes to reach out to a broader audience who will understand her message and to make them reflect and act wisely. Not only is French one of the many languages that she likes to hear but it is also considered the language of the diplomats. Besides she really likes the combination of the Tibetan and French language because they both sound very elegant to her.
