ba:zel “green punch“ teaser

ba:zel is a label for wanderlust activities of Ewelina Chiu (PL) and Daniel Vlcek (CZ) in the art, “music,” and MUSIC spheres. Brought together in late 2014, ba:zel was lucky enough to be granted a four month long residency in Arnhem, the Netherlands, where the project developed from all sides. During this time the electroacoustic music project took shape, slowly becoming characterized by musing, softly sung melodies supported by piano and beats inspired by the underground techno scene of the 90’s and vintage analog drum machines. ba:zel ‘s sound is also threaded with live field recordings, both organic and inorganic. In this way the music project is related to the “site-specific unspecific soundtracks” that ba:zel creates as supplements to particular art projects and as tracks meant to stand alone and communicate a particular concept
