I’m playing BWV 62 with the Bach Collegium San Diego on May 3rd and 4th. this unique instrument was a likely solution for Bach to doubling the soprano part in numerous of his cantatas. The body of the instrument is a replica of Bach’s favorite trumpet player’s instrument!
