Building a City of Radical Inclusion

Renowned human rights activist Dr. Victor Pineda participates in Black Rock City as a Burner with reduced mobility. His journeys — including his Burning Man experience — inspired his advocacy and leadership in ensuring cities of the future are inclusive, accessible and resilient. Pineda works with the United Nations and cities around the world to advocate for creation of disability-inclusive cities. In his documentary “Unconfined” (2022), Pineda takes us on a journey to two of the world’s most transformative cities — Varanasi, India, and Black Rock City, Nevada. Building a City of Radical Inclusion brings us into Pineda’s Burning Man journey, which is woven into the final “Unconfined” documentary.
