The UVI Cameo is a recreation of the Casio CZ which was a low budget synth used by a lot of early rappers in the 80’s. It has it’s own lofi funk sound to it. It could be heard in break dancing music and mid 80’s Too short songs. UVI create a lot of emulations of rare synth. To me they are the best samplers on the planet. Their sounds are just like the original synths and a lot of times better with the sample techniques that they use.
